Lab Test Guidance
We explain which functional health lab tests may be relevant to your symptoms and why. When you have results, we go through them with you in plain language.
Consultation first
Any tests are discussed after we understand your history and symptoms, never as a blanket panel.
Guidance
We explain which tests may help and why. Based on local regulations, you can then arrange functional health lab tests with an accredited laboratory.
Results, explained
If you share your results, we go through what each marker may mean in the context of your health story.
Plan adjustment
Your nutrition, lifestyle, sleep and stress plan is refined in light of what the results show.
Tests often discussed, by focus area
Which tests are relevant is always decided individually. This list is general education, not a fixed protocol and not a request for testing.
| Focus area | Tests you may wish to consider |
|---|---|
| Digestive health | Comprehensive stool analysis, inflammatory markers, food reaction testing where appropriate |
| Nervous system | B12, vitamin D, ferritin, thyroid panel, inflammatory markers |
| Musculoskeletal | Inflammatory markers, autoimmune screen, vitamin D |
| Psychological | Thyroid panel, cortisol pattern, nutrient status |
| General wellness | Metabolic panel, lipid panel, HbA1c, baseline hormones |
Local laboratory regulations
Each country has its own regulations on laboratory testing, and all tests are arranged in line with the regulations where you live. We do not issue laboratory requisitions. Some well-known functional medicine laboratories are listed on our Functional Medicine page.
Educational review
Our review of results is educational and supports your plan. If a result may need medical attention, we will ask you to see a doctor promptly.
Start with a consultation
Tests are discussed after we understand your symptoms, not before.
